| Obverse description | Laureate head of Zeus facing right, rendered in bold high relief with finely detailed flowing hair and beard characteristic of Hellenistic die-cutting. The portrait displays strong, mature features with a prominent brow and full beard. The field is plain, and the coin is bordered by a dotted bead-and-reel pattern around the periphery. The style is confident and accomplished, consistent with mid-second century BC Achaean League coinage. |

| Reverse description | The large Achaean League monogram — formed by the letters AX conjoined — occupies the central field, flanked to the left and right by the magistrate's initials. Below the monogram appears the ethnic letter delta (Δ) over omicron (O), identifying the issuing city of Megara. A poppy head appears above the monogram at the top of the field. The entire device is encircled by a wreath of olive leaves tied at the base, a standard reverse type for Achaean League hemidrachms. |
