| Obverse description | Zeus Lykaios enthroned facing, head turned to left, depicted in a archaic style befitting the early classical period. The deity holds a long scepter in his raised left hand, while an eagle, his divine attribute, is shown in flight departing from his extended right hand. The figure is rendered with characteristic solemnity, seated upon a low throne with drapery indicated beneath. |

| Reverse description | Female head of Kallisto in right profile, rendered in the early classical style with a frontal eye set in profile, a convention transitional between the archaic and classical periods. The hair is bound at the nape with a taenia, drawn up and secured at the back of the head. A delicate necklace encircles the throat, adding an element of feminine adornment characteristic of Arcadian coinage. The portrait is finely engraved and occupies the majority of the reverse field. |
