Reverse description A kantharos (two-handled wine cup) depicted in central position, with prominent loop handles rising above the rim and a splayed foot below, set within a plain incuse square or flat field. The magistrate's name ΔΙΟΓΕΝΗΣ and the civic ethnic ΤΗΙ are distributed across the fields surrounding the vessel, identifying both the issuing city of Teos and the responsible monetary magistrate. The lettering is rendered in archaic Greek characters typical of Ionian coinage of the fourth century BC.
