Reverse description Poseidon Pelagaios standing left, nude, right arm raised and brandishing a trident over his right shoulder, left arm extended holding a chlamys draped over the forearm. A circular monogram (N or Tarsos mint mark) appears in the right field. The Greek royal legend BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΔHMHTPIOY is inscribed around the figure, reading partially along the right and lower periphery. The style is vigorous and characteristic of early Hellenistic Macedonian royal coinage struck at Tarsos.
