Obverse description Laureate head of Apollo facing right, rendered in fine late Classical style with delicately engraved features, long flowing hair swept back beneath a wreath of laurel leaves. The youthful, idealized effigy displays well-modelled facial detail including a straight nose, slightly parted lips, and a defined chin. The hair falls in undulating locks behind the neck, and the laurel wreath is rendered with prominent, overlapping leaves across the crown. The city ethnic ΚΙΑ appears in the field.
