| Obverse description | Youthful draped bust of Antiochos VI Dionysos facing right, the effigy adorned with a radiate crown of diverging sun-rays and a diadem whose ties fall behind the neck. The portraiture is rendered in the Hellenistic royal tradition, with finely modelled facial features, a clean jawline, and hair curling softly above the ear. The radiating crown, an iconographic allusion to the solar deity, is a distinctive hallmark of this king's coinage. No legend appears on the obverse field. |

| Reverse description | Apollo standing facing, with head turned to the left, holding an arrow upright in his extended right hand while his left arm rests upon a grounded bow at his side. The god is depicted in the idealised Hellenistic style, nude or lightly draped, conveying the divine serenity associated with his cult. The royal legend is disposed in two lines within the field, identifying the issuing monarch. The composition is characteristic of the Apameia on the Axios mint issues under Antiochos VI. |
