Beschrijving voorzijde Facing head of Helios, the sun god, rendered in three-quarter view turned slightly to the right, depicted in the characteristic Rhodian artistic tradition. The effigy displays tousled, wind-blown hair radiating outward from the crown in flowing locks, conveying the divine luminosity of the solar deity. The facial features are modelled with confident, high-relief workmanship typical of Hellenistic engraving, with well-defined eyes, a straight nose, and slightly parted lips. The field is plain, with no legend or inscription on the obverse.

Beschrijving keerzijde A rose in full bloom, the civic badge of Rhodes, depicted with stem and a single bud emerging to the right, occupying the central field. The ethnic letters Ρ and Ο are placed on either side of the stalk, serving as an abbreviated civic reference to Rhodes. The magistrate's name ΑΚΕΣΙΣ (Akesis) is inscribed above the rose in Greek characters, identifying the issuing authority. To the left of the rose, a lamp serves as a secondary control symbol. The composition is clean and well-organized within the flan, consistent with the established Rhodian hemidrachm reverse type of the Plinthophoric series.
