| Obverse description | Laureate head of Apollo facing right, rendered in fine archaic-to-classical transitional style. The hair is elaborately arranged beneath a leafy wreath, with loose locks falling behind the neck. The facial features are delicately modeled, with a smooth cheek, almond-shaped eye, and slightly parted lips characteristic of late Classical Peloponnesian coinage. A small deity or figure appears faintly behind the neck in the left field, possibly a secondary control mark. The legend ΠE appears in the left field. |
