Obverse description Boeotian shield depicted in high relief at center, rendered as a circular form with the characteristic double cut-outs at left and right flanks. The shield surface is slightly concave, showing the hammered incuse technique typical of early Greek coinage from this region. The broad flat rim frames the design, with no inscription or additional device present in the field.

Reverse description A kantharos (two-handled wine cup) depicted facing, with pronounced loop handles rising above the rim and a flared foot resting on a stepped base, all centrally placed within a linear border. A small ivy leaf or grape cluster appears to the upper right of the kantharos, serving as a secondary symbol in the right field. The ethnic inscription ΒΟΙ is divided across the lower field, with Β to the lower left and ΟΙ to the lower right of the kantharos stem, identifying the issuing Boeotian League. The style is characteristic of the classical period of Boeotian civic coinage.
