Obverse description Eagle depicted in flight with wings spread, shown in left profile. The raptor is rendered in a bold, archaic style characteristic of Cretan coinage, with feathers indicated by incised lines and the head turned back. The flan is irregular and slightly rough, typical of hand-struck Hellenistic issues from Lyttos. No legend or inscription appears in the field.
