Obverse description Amphora (amphoriskos) with two volute handles displayed in the central field, resting on a stepped base; a small jug (oinochoe) appears to the lower left and a strigil hangs to the lower right. A small ivy leaf or floral ornament decorates the neck of the vessel. The composition is rendered in fine relief characteristic of the Korkyraean engraving tradition of the late Classical and early Hellenistic periods. No legend appears on this side; the single letter Φ serves as a magistrate's or mint-control mark.
