| Obverse description | Facing head of Helios, turned slightly to the right, rendered in high relief with characteristic radiate hair flowing loosely in thick wavy locks around the face. The features are finely modelled in the late Classical Rhodian style, with almond-shaped eyes, a straight nose, and slightly parted lips. The field is plain, with the irregular flan edge visible around the design. |

| Reverse description | A fully open rose bloom depicted from above, with curling petals and a prominent central calyx, set within a shallow incuse square. A rose bud on a curved stem rises to the right of the bloom. To the left, a Heraklean club is depicted vertically. The ethnic inscription ΡΟ, an abbreviation for ΡΟΔΙΩΝ (of the Rhodians), appears in the lower field, flanking the stem of the rose. |
