Obverse description Facing head of Helios, turned slightly to the right, rendered in high relief with characteristic radiate hair flowing loosely in thick wavy locks around the face. The features are finely modelled in the late Classical Rhodian style, with almond-shaped eyes, a straight nose, and slightly parted lips. The field is plain, with the irregular flan edge visible around the design.
