Obverse description Head of Artemis facing right, wearing a Corinthian helmet adorned with a crested plume, the hair rendered in fine wavy locks visible beneath the helmet rim. The facial features are depicted in the archaic-transitional Greek style characteristic of early Macedonian coinage, with a pronounced eye, aquiline nose, and slightly parted lips. The neck and lower drapery are partially visible at the base of the bust. The field is plain and uninscribed, the overall style reflecting the local Thracian-Macedonian artistic tradition of the mid-fourth century BC.
