| Reverse description | Facing gorgoneion depicted full face and centrally placed within the die, featuring large wide-set eyes, a broad flat nose, and an open mouth displaying rows of teeth with tongue protruding, conveying the apotropaic grimace characteristic of the Medusa type. Serpentine coils frame the face on all sides, their sinuous forms filling the field to the coin's irregular edge.
