Reverse description A sandal, attributed to Jason, depicted in left-facing orientation within a deeply recessed incuse square, rendered in the incuse technique typical of early Greek coinage. The sandal is shown in three-quarter perspective, with the sole, straps, and toe thong rendered in fine relief, exhibiting a high degree of stylization. The ethnic inscription is divided across the incuse field, flanking the central device. The bold geometric incuse square frame and the arrangement of the legend around the main device are hallmarks of early fifth-century Thessalian numismatic production.
