Obverse description Facing gorgoneion depicted in high relief at center, the visage rendered with stylized serpentine hair radiating outward and framed by a wreath encircling the entire design. The grotesque apotropaic face displays characteristic wide-set eyes, a broad nose, and prominent features typical of the Olbian coinage tradition. The flan is irregular and shows characteristic hammered fabric consistent with late Hellenistic Pontic mint practice.

Reverse description A dolphin swimming to the left occupies the central field, rendered in a schematic yet vigorous style characteristic of Olbian coinage. The ethnic legend OΛBI appears above the dolphin, while the magistrate's or mint-control abbreviation KPI is inscribed below, both in Greek letters. The reverse field is plain, and the overall strike is slightly off-center on an irregular flan, consistent with hammered production of the period.
