Obverse description Helmeted head of Athena facing left, wearing an Attic helmet adorned with a laurel wreath along the bowl. The goddess's facial features are rendered in archaic Greek style, with a prominent eye and finely modeled cheek. The cheek-guard of the helmet is visible, and locks of hair curl beneath the neckpiece. The field is plain, with the design occupying the full flan.
