| Beschrijving voorzijde | Griffin seated left in profile, with its head turned slightly upward and the right forepaw raised in a characteristic heraldic pose. The creature's folded wings are rendered with careful detail, showing layered feathers in archaic relief style. The body is compact and well-modeled, consistent with the artistic conventions of Thracian mint coinage of the late fifth century BC. No legend or inscription appears in the field. The design fills the flan with bold, confident engraving typical of Abderan silver issues of this period. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Forepart of a bull facing right, depicted in three-quarter view with the head lowered and the mane rendered in detailed striations, set within a shallow incuse square of pellet-bordered type. The protome is boldly cut in high relief relative to the incuse field, creating a striking contrast between the raised design and the recessed background. The horns are clearly delineated, and the musculature of the neck and shoulder is carefully articulated. No inscription or magistrate's name appears within the incuse square. This reverse type is characteristic of the hemidrachm series struck at Abdera during the late fifth and early fourth centuries BC. |
