| 正面描述 | Ram's head facing right, rendered in high relief with naturalistic detail; the woolly fleece is indicated by carefully incised striations along the neck and jaw. The eye is rendered in profile, and the muzzle is slightly downturned. The design fills the flan with archaic boldness characteristic of early Aeolian coinage, with no legend or border present in the field. |

| 附加信息 |
Kebren was a minor Troad city whose coinage output was modest even by regional standards, but the mid-fifth century issues occupy an interesting moment: the city was functioning as an autonomous mint before its eventual absorption into the orbit of stronger Troad powers later in the century. Whether Kebren maintained its mint continuously or produced coins in short civic episodes remains debated — the surviving population of these hemidrachms is small enough that drawing firm conclusions is difficult.
