| Obverse description | Facing left, the youthful head of the nymph Olympia rendered in fine archaic-to-classical style, her hair elaborately dressed and drawn back, with loose curling locks falling at the neck. The facial features are delicately modeled with soft relief typical of Elean coinage of the period. The Greek letter delta (Δ) appears as a control mark beneath the neck truncation, placed in the lower field. |
