Hemichalkon - Tigranes II Grain

Beschrijving voorzijde	Draped bust of Tigranes II facing right, wearing the distinctive Armenian tiara adorned with a star flanked by two eagles in profile, the tiara secured by a diadem with falling ties. The portrait, characteristic of late Hellenistic royal coinage, presents the king in three-quarter relief with stylized facial features. The flan is irregular and heavily patinated, obscuring fine detail.

Beschrijving keerzijde	A single stylized ear of grain (wheat or barley) depicted upright in the central field, rendered in the Hellenistic convention typical of Artaxiad bronze coinage. The grain motif, symbolic of agricultural prosperity, is flanked by the royal Greek inscription. The reverse field shows considerable wear and surface corrosion consistent with the age and bronze composition of the flan.
