| Obverse description | Draped bust of Sabina Augusta facing right, her hair elaborately coiffed and bound, rendered in the characteristic Hadrianic court style. The effigy is depicted with fine drapery visible at the truncation of the shoulder. The circular legend ϹΑΒΕΙΝΑ ϹΕΒΑϹΤΗ runs around the bust within a beaded border. The portrait displays the idealized features typical of imperial consort coinage struck at provincial mints in Lydia during the reign of Hadrian. |
