Obverse description Diademed bust of King Theophilus facing right, depicted in Hellenistic style within the square flan. The royal effigy occupies the central field, rendered in low relief with characteristic Indo-Greek portraiture. The Greek legend BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΔIKAIOY ΘEOΦIΛOY ('Of the just king Theophilus') surrounds the portrait, distributed along the left, top, and right margins of the square field.
