Obverse description Central field occupied by a large Gothic blackletter 'K', the initial of Duke Casimir II, rendered in Fraktur style. The letter fills the flan and is enclosed within a beaded or dotted inner circle. The striking is characteristic of hammered coinage, with irregular flan shape and uneven surface typical of late medieval Silesian hellers.
