背面描述 The reverse is entirely blank, presenting a plain, featureless copper field with no inscriptions, devices, or decorative elements. This uniface or near-uniface treatment is characteristic of the smallest denomination copper issues struck by Swiss cantons during the first half of the eighteenth century, where production economy dictated the omission of any reverse design.

附加信息

Appenzell Innerrhoden remained one of the few Catholic half-cantons still exercising independent minting rights well into the eighteenth century, and these copper hellers were struck in tiny quantities reflecting the canton's exceptionally small population — never more than a few thousand souls. The fractional copper coinage served local market transactions in a territory so politically autonomous that it maintained separate institutions from its Protestant neighbor Ausserrhoden after the confessional split of 1597.

HMZ catalogues multiple die variants across the 1730s issues; the 2-48c designation places this among the documented Innerrhoden heller subtype sequence rather than the broader Appenzell collective issues.
