Obverse description Female head facing right, rendered in fine archaic style with subtly modeled features, full rounded cheeks, and a prominent nose. The hair is dressed close to the skull, falling in a compact mass behind, with individual strands suggested along the forehead and temple. A dotted border frames the design within the coin's slightly irregular flan. The portrait is naturalistic yet retains the formal elegance characteristic of Lesbian electrum coinage of the fifth century BC.

Reverse description Two confronted male heads rendered in low incuse relief, set face-to-face at center within a recessed square incuse punch. Each head wears what appears to be a helmet or cap adorned with radiating feather-like plumes, their beaks or visors touching at the center, creating a symmetrical heraldic composition. The paired heads are surrounded by a beaded border within the incuse square. This type has been associated with paired triton or river-god imagery, characteristic of Mytilene's distinctive hekte reverse designs.
