| Obverse description | Laureate head of Zeus facing right, rendered in fine archaic-classical style with detailed beard and flowing hair. A small serpent is depicted before the chin, a distinctive iconographic attribute associating Zeus with chthonic or oracular aspects. The flan is slightly irregular, characteristic of hammered electrum coinage from Mytilene. The portraiture exhibits high relief and careful engraving consistent with the artistic standards of Lesbian mint production during the fourth century BC. |

| Reverse description | Head of Herakles facing right, wearing the Nemean lion skin headdress with the scalp visible over the crown and the paws knotted at the throat. The portrait is set within a shallow incuse linear square, a hallmark feature of Mytilenean electrum hekte coinage. The youthful, idealized features of the hero are rendered in fine relief with carefully detailed curling hair visible beneath the lion skin. The design is executed in the high-quality engraving style characteristic of late classical Lesbian electrum issues. |
