Reverse description Quadripartite incuse square occupying the central field of the reverse, formed by two intersecting raised ridges dividing the depression into four roughly equal recessed compartments. The incuse design is characteristic of early Greek electrum coinage technology, in which the reverse die punch created this distinctive mill-sail or windmill pattern. The surrounding field is plain and slightly irregular, consistent with the hammered fabric typical of Phokaian hektes.
