| Obverse description | Two tunnies (tuna fish) depicted one above the other in opposing orientations: the upper fish swimming to the left and the lower fish swimming to the right. The fish are rendered in the archaic Greek style characteristic of early Kyzikene electrum coinage, with naturalistic detail typical of the mint's celebrated marine iconography.
