| Obverse description | Facing head of Silenos rendered in high relief, turned slightly to the left, dominating the flan. The bearded satyr displays characteristically archaic features: deeply set eyes with prominent brow ridges, a broad, flat nose, and a thick, finely striated beard rendered with carefully engraved parallel lines. Wild, flowing hair is indicated by bold incised strokes swept to the right of the field. The modelling exhibits the confident plasticity characteristic of early Classical Greek electrum coinage from Lesbos. |

| Reverse description | Head of a roaring lion facing right, rendered within a recessed linear square border set within a shallow incuse circle. The lion displays an open mouth with visible teeth, a prominent mane depicted with radiating incised lines, and a wrinkled, deeply modelled muzzle. A row of pellets accentuates the mane along the neck. The incuse treatment of the reverse is characteristic of the hammered electrum coinage of Mytilene, providing a counterpart design to the obverse die. |
