| Obverse description | Janiform double head in high relief, conjoined and facing in opposite directions: at right, the bearded head of a satyr rendered with characteristic upturned snub nose, long beard, and archaic stylization; at left, the head of a maenad whose hair is bound and covered by a saccos. The design occupies the full flan in the bold, archaic Aeolic style typical of early Mytilene electrum coinage. |

| Reverse description | Female head in profile facing right, rendered in shallow incuse relief within a trapezoidal incuse square. The head displays archaic stylization consistent with late 6th-century BC Lesbian die-cutting, with the portrait contained entirely within the incuse punch depression that fills the reverse field. |
