| 裏面の説明 | Quadripartite incuse square of mill-sail or swastika-pattern form, deeply struck into the flan, dividing the reverse field into four recessed compartments of alternating raised and sunken sections. This distinctive windmill incuse type is a hallmark of early Kyzikene electrum hektai and served as the die punch mark from the striking process. The surface within the incuse compartments is granular and irregular, as is typical of hammered archaic coinage. No legend or figural type is present on the reverse. The bold geometric design is consistent with Von Fritze's classification of this series. |
