Obverse description Forepart of a tunny fish (tuna) facing left in high relief, rendered in the archaic Greek artistic style characteristic of early Kyzikene coinage. The fish is depicted with bold, stylized lines emphasizing its muscular body and prominent eye, set within an irregular, slightly convex flan typical of early electrum issues. The field surrounding the device is plain and unadorned. No legend or inscription is present, consistent with the pre-inscriptional period of Greek coinage. The overall execution reflects the skilled but archaic die-cutting tradition of the Propontis region.

Reverse description Incuse punch of quadripartite or irregular mill-sail pattern, deeply impressed into the flan by a single punch, characteristic of the earliest Greek coin technology. The incuse square is divided into irregular raised and sunken sections producing a rough, faceted surface. No design, legend, or secondary device is present. This purely functional reverse is typical of archaic electrum hektes from Kyzikos dating to the late 7th and early 6th centuries BC, where the reverse served solely to secure the metal and confirm weight. The flan edges are irregular and show typical flow lines from the hammering process.
