Obverse description Crested Chalkidian helmet depicted in left-facing profile, the bowl of the helmet adorned with a small incuse seal (phoca) device also oriented to the left, serving as the civic badge of Phokaia. The design is rendered in low relief characteristic of early Ionian electrum coinage, with the helmet's cheek-guards and neck-guard clearly articulated. The field is plain, with no legend or additional inscription.
