Obverse description Laureate and wreathed head of Persephone facing right, rendered in fine archaic-to-classical style characteristic of Mytilenaean electrum coinage. The goddess is depicted with delicately modeled facial features, flowing hair gathered beneath a grain or olive wreath, and a gracefully defined profile. The portrait occupies nearly the full flan, with no surrounding legend or exergual inscription, consistent with the acephalous issues of this mint.
