The visage displays the characteristic apotropaic features of the type: wide-set bulging eyes, a broad flattened nose, and a gaping mouth with protruding tongue flanked by prominent fangs. Serpents emerge from the crown of the head and coil outward to either side, framing the face with writhing tendrils. The surrounding field shows additional serpentine coils at the periphery, all executed in the vigorous, stylized manner characteristic of late Archaic Greek coin engraving.

背面描述	Incuse head of Heracles facing left, wearing the lion skin headdress with the scalp draped over the skull, rendered in sunken relief characteristic of early electrum coinage. The neck truncation is delineated by two horizontal rows of small squares, four above and four below, forming a distinctive decorative border. Behind the head, a recessed rectangle with irregular interior surfaces serves as a secondary incuse element. The overall composition is achieved through the characteristic incuse punch technique employed by Lesbian electrum issues of this period.
