| Obverse description | Male head facing left, depicted with a long beard and flowing hair, rendered in high relief in the archaic Greek style. The figure wears what appears to be a crested helmet or headdress, partially visible at the upper right of the field. The facial features are boldly modeled with a prominent brow and elongated nose characteristic of Phokaian coinage. No inscription or legend appears in the field. The flan is slightly irregular, typical of early electrum coinage. |

| Reverse description | Incuse square punch of irregular form divided into four quadrants by a raised cruciform ridge, creating a windmill or mill-sail pattern within a recessed square. The incuse design is deeply struck with rough, granular surfaces within each quarter. A plain raised border surrounds the punch mark. No inscription or legend is present. This type of incuse reverse is characteristic of Phokaian electrum hektes and served as a countermark of authenticity. |
