Obverse description Full-length frontal figure of Saint John the Baptist standing in the field, holding the Agnus Dei (Lamb of God) in his left hand and raising his right hand in a gesture of benediction. The saint is rendered in the Gothic style typical of late 15th-century Netherlandish coinage. The surrounding legend, separated by pellets or stops, reads in Gothic uncial characters. The coin's hammered fabric produces a slightly irregular flan with beaded border.

Reverse description Central device consisting of an imperial orb (globus cruciger) set within a Gothic trilobe or trefoil frame adorned with pointed cusps, the whole forming a decorative quatrefoil-like structure. The orb displays a cross above and a horizontal band across the sphere, rendered in the hammered Gothic style. The surrounding legend in Gothic uncial characters invokes the authority of Holy Roman Emperor Frederick III, separated by cross and star stops. A beaded border encircles the entire design.
