| Beschrijving voorzijde | Full-length standing figure of Saint Andrew facing front, depicted as a bearded apostle draped in flowing robes, embracing his characteristic saltire cross (crux decussata) which extends diagonally across the entire field. The saint's head is rendered with a nimbus or halo in Gothic style, and his hands grasp the arms of the cross. The design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with the peripheral legend separated by a row of pellets. The hammered flan produces a characteristically irregular circular planchet with slightly uneven surfaces consistent with mid-15th-century Burgundian coinage. |
