The Lithuanian grosz of 1652 was produced at Wilno during one of the most financially strained periods in the Commonwealth's history — the ongoing wars against Muscovy, Sweden, and the Cossack Hetmanate had drained the treasury to a degree that small silver coinage was being struck at progressively reduced fineness throughout the decade. Jan II Kazimierz had inherited a state already at war and a mint system under constant pressure to produce more coin from less metal.
The three Kopicki references reflect documented die variants from this single year's Wilno production — not unusual given the volume of small denominations struck and the number of working dies in simultaneous use.
