Obverse description Draped bust of King Stanisław August Poniatowski facing right, his hair dressed and tied at the nape in the fashion of the late 18th century. The portrait is rendered in a neoclassical style with fine detail in the facial features and drapery. No legend is present on this pattern obverse, with the portrait occupying the central field within a plain border.

Reverse description Central crowned oval shield bearing the Polish eagle and Lithuanian Pahonia arranged in quartered heraldic composition, surrounded by a further ornamental frame. A circular Latin legend surrounds the design reading REX POL M D L and 1 GROSUS HZ, denoting the denomination and royal titles, all within a beaded border.
