| Reverse description | Central shield bearing the Polish White Eagle, surmounted by a large royal crown, all within a beaded inner circle. The eagle is depicted with spread wings and detailed feathering in the late Renaissance heraldic style. The surrounding Latin legend reads GROSVS REGNI – POLONIE followed by the date and mint-master's initials. The date and initials appear in the legend field separated by ornamental stops, with the mintmaster's mark and assayer's initials flanking the date as is customary for Olkusz issues of this period. |
