| Beschrijving keerzijde | Full-length frontal figure of Saint Cyriacus (San Ciriaco), the patron saint of Ancona, depicted as a bishop in pontifical vestments including a mitre, raising his right hand in benediction and holding a crozier in his left hand. The saintly figure is set within a raised inner circle and framed by a beaded or rope border. The surrounding legend, in Gothic-influenced Latin majuscules, runs along the outer margin of the coin. The style is characteristic of central Italian communal silver coinage of the 13th–14th centuries. |
