| Beschrijving voorzijde | A bold cross pattée occupies the central field, enclosed within a raised reeded inner circle. The outer field between the inner circle and the coin's irregular edge is decorated with a repeating pattern of crescent moons and small crosses alternating around the circumference, characteristic of the Agontano type. The circumferential legend in Latin runs around the outer field. The overall style is consistent with central Italian communal coinage of the medieval period. |
