Reverse description Long cross with ornamented arms divides the field into four quarters, each containing a portion of the inner legend in Gothic lettering, following the standard tournois type. A double beaded circle frames the inner inscription, with a further outer legend running between the inner and outer beaded borders. The cross terminates near the inner circle, with the quarters filled by text segments. The overall design closely follows the gros tournois prototype adapted for Aachen municipal coinage. The outer legend incorporates the date 1375 expressed in Roman numerals.
