Reverse description A boldly struck cross of the Order of Saint Maurice with fleurdelisé or trefoil terminals on each arm, centrally positioned within a four-lobed (quadrilobe) inner frame composed of curved segments with beaded borders. The quadrilobe design is a hallmark of late medieval Savoyard coinage. The circumferential legend in Gothic lettering encircles the entire composition within the outer border.
