| Beschrijving voorzijde | Within a beaded inner circle, a displayed double-headed eagle with outstretched wings occupies the central field, a small point or pellet positioned between the two heads. The eagle is rendered in a bold, somewhat stylized medieval Gothic manner characteristic of Savoyard hammered coinage. The surrounding circular legend, separated from the central device by the beaded border, reads the count's titulature in Latin. A cross pattée precedes the legend as an introductory mark. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | A bold double-armed long cross extends to the coin's periphery, dividing the reverse field into four quarters; within each quarter appears one letter of the name AMED in Gothic script, reading A, M, E, D in sequence. The surrounding circular legend is similarly segmented by the arms of the cross, with each of the four segments carrying a portion of the mint attribution in abbreviated Latin.
