Obverse description Central shield bearing a complex quartered coat of arms, incorporating the Árpád dynastic stripes of Hungary, the Hungarian patriarchal double cross, the Dalmatian leopard heads, and the Bohemian lion, with an inescutcheon on the breast displaying the Austrian fess. The shield is surmounted by a royal crown. The heraldic composition is rendered in the characteristic Central European Renaissance style of the mid-sixteenth century, with the legend encircling the design along the periphery.
