The circumferential legend in uncial Latin script reads AMEDEVS DI GRA COMES, identifying the count by name and title. The overall design is enclosed within concentric beaded borders. The die work reflects the hammered coinage tradition of the period. |

| Mô tả mặt sau | A bold cross pattée divides the reverse field into four quarters, each containing a small decorative element, likely a multi-petalled rosette or heraldic motif, consistent with Savoyard groschen of the 14th century. The cross extends to the inner beaded border, giving the design a strong architectural quality typical of Gothic coinage. The circumferential legend in uncial Latin reads SABAVD IN ITALIA MARChIO, referencing Amadeus VI's title as Marquis of Italy. The whole is enclosed within a double beaded border. The hammered technique results in a slightly irregular flan, as is standard for coinage of this era. |
